APPLE macOS TECHNICAL SUPPORT

This test assesses the proficiency of an Apple technician in setting up, configuring, maintaining and upgrading Apple desktops (iMac/Mac Pro/Mac Mini) and laptops (MacBook/MacBook Air/MacBook Pro) running the macOS operating system on a network. It covers knowledge of Apple computer hardware, operating systems, network design and protocols. It includes diagnosing and troubleshooting Apple computer and network problems in addition to preventive maintenance activities. (NOTE: The operating system for Apple computers was previously known as OS X, but was renamed macOS in September 2016.) The full version of this test will contain a minimum of 36 questions and will require a typical time of 43 minutes. The short version will provide as many questions as the test taker can answer within an approximate 26 minute time limit.
