IKM Assessment Description

COMPUTER LITERACY: BASIC COMPUTER CONCEPTS FOR END USERS

This assessment is designed to measure competency in fundamental information technology concepts, including hardware, software, desktops, file management, information networks, print management, Web browsing and security. It is for personal computer end users utilizing machines that run the Microsoft Windows Operating System, such as general support or office staff. It covers concepts related to Windows 7 and Windows 8. The full version of this test will contain a minimum of 45 questions and will require a typical time of 54 minutes. The short version will provide as many questions as the test taker can answer within an approximate 33 minute time limit.
